Paying for your booking

Paying online

Choose your space and dates, enter your details, and tap Reserve. You’re taken to Paystack to pay by card, transfer or USSD.

Your seat is held while you pay, so nobody can take it out from under you at the checkout screen. If you abandon the payment, the hold releases after about ten minutes and the seat goes back on sale.

You don’t need a RAiN account to book or to pay.

Your code arrives when the payment clears

This is the one rule worth understanding: the booking code is created when the money lands, not when you fill in the form.

Until then the confirmation page shows a placeholder rather than a code. It isn’t hiding anything — there genuinely isn’t a code yet, because a code is what gets you through the door.

Once payment clears, the code appears on that page and we email it to you (and text it, if you gave us a number). The page updates on its own; you don’t need to do anything.

If a minute passes and it still says we’re confirming, that’s usually the bank being slow. Your email is the reliable copy.

Paying at the desk

You can also pay in person, whether you booked ahead or just walked in. We take:

  • Card on our POS terminals — Moniepoint, OPay and FirstBank
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash

You get a receipt from the terminal, and your booking is confirmed straight away. Reception reads your code back to you on the spot.

Holding a seat and paying when you arrive

Ring or message us and reception can hold a desk for a day later in the week. The seat is genuinely reserved — it won’t be sold to anyone else.

No code is issued until you pay. When you arrive, reception takes the payment and your code is created at that moment.

Prices

Prices are per branch and shown on the space before you book. Booking several seats together earns an automatic discount — see Booking for a team.

Nothing is added at checkout: the price you see on the space is the price you pay.

If a payment fails

Nothing is charged and no booking is made. The most common causes:

“Our payment provider rejected that email address.” Paystack checks the address is real. Look for a typo in the domain.

Your bank declined it. Try another card, or pay by transfer on the same Paystack screen.

You paid but see no code. Wait a minute, then check your email. If there’s still nothing, contact us with the reference from your bank — we can look the payment up and issue your code.

Receipts and invoices

The Paystack email is your receipt for an online payment; the terminal slip is your receipt at the desk. Need something addressed to a company for expenses? Ask reception and we’ll sort it out.
