Your courses, lessons and certificates

Everything you do after you enrol: where your courses live, what the lesson screen does, how quizzes and labs work, and how to get your certificate.

My learning

My learning is where your courses live. Reach it from the Academy header, or from your expert dashboard under Grow.

Down the left is your navigation — Dashboard, My learning, Live Training, RAiN AI Studio and Projects. Live Training and Projects are marked Soon: they are coming, and they are shown now so the menu doesn't rearrange itself under you later. On a phone this becomes a strip you swipe across the top.

Your courses are split into two tabs:

In progress — everything you're partway through.
Completed — courses you've finished, with their certificates.

Each course is a card showing how far through you are. Click the card to open it and you'll see the module you're currently in, with everything inside it:

Every row is a link, so you can jump straight to any lesson. Or use Resume learning, which takes you to the first thing you haven't finished — it knows about locked modules and won't send you somewhere you can't get into.

View syllabus opens the whole course: every module, not just the one you're in.

The lesson screen

A lesson takes over the whole screen. That's deliberate — it's a workspace, not a web page, and the site's usual header and footer get out of the way so you can read.

On the left: what you read. The lesson text, which scrolls on its own. The bar above it stays put so you always know where you are.

On the right: what you watch, look at, or do. Depending on the lesson that's a video, a picture, or a hands-on lab. It doesn't scroll — it stays with you while you read.

Pictures follow you. When a lesson has no video, it can have a picture for each section instead. As you scroll into a new section, the picture beside it changes to match. A section with no picture of its own keeps showing the last one, so the space never goes blank. If a lesson has a video, the video holds that side for the whole lesson and any pictures stay in the text where the instructor wrote them.

Along the top: the course name, and a row of small bars — one per lesson in this module, filled in as you go. Exit closes the lesson and returns you to the course.

Along the bottom: where you are (3/7), and the two buttons that move you. Back goes to the previous lesson, crossing into the previous module when you reach the start of one. Mark complete records the lesson and moves you on; once a lesson is done, that button reads Next.

Nothing is lost if you leave. Your progress is saved per lesson, and My learning brings you back to exactly where you stopped.

Asking a question

Under the text of every lesson there's a Discussion. Ask there and your instructor — and anyone else taking the course — can answer. Questions are attached to the lesson they were asked in, so the answer arrives with the context it needs.

Quizzes

A module can end with a quiz. You'll find it after the module's last lesson, and Next takes you to it.

The pass mark is set by your instructor and is 70% unless they changed it. You can retake a quiz — it's there to show you what hasn't landed yet, not to catch you out. On a course where modules open in order, passing the quiz is part of finishing the module.

Labs

Some lessons come with a lab — practice rather than reading. There are three kinds, and the lesson tells you which one you've got:

A simulation — you work through a scenario and get feedback on what you did.
An embedded environment — a tool opens inside the lesson for you to use.
A practice workspace — the lab opens RAiN AI Studio, the same agent studio experts use for real client work. You get a practice workspace with a daily run limit, and it's kept separate from any live client work, so you can experiment without consequences.

That last one is the point of Academy: you practise on the actual platform, not a toy version of it.

Courses that open a module at a time

Most courses are open from the moment you enrol. Some are paced by the workspace: one module opens for each day you spend at a RAiN workspace, in order, and the training is free for anyone who checks in.

Finishing, and your certificate

A course is complete when you've finished its lessons and passed its quizzes. The card moves to your Completed tab, and Resume learning becomes Review course — everything stays open to you afterwards.

On a certificate course, your certificate is issued automatically the moment you finish. It carries a unique serial and its own public verification page, so a client or an employer can confirm in one click that it's real. There's a PDF to download too.

Find it any time from My learning. Certificates don't expire and your progress doesn't either.

FAQs

I closed the tab mid-lesson. Did I lose it? No. Progress is recorded per lesson, and lessons you had already marked complete stay complete. Open My learning and press Resume learning.

Can I skip ahead? On an open course, yes — every lesson in the card and the syllabus is a link. On a course that opens a module at a time, you can move freely within what you've opened, but not past the padlock.

Do I have to mark lessons complete? Yes, that's what moves your progress on. The button does both — it records the lesson and takes you to the next one.

The picture beside the text isn't changing. It changes as you reach each new section heading. If the lesson has a video instead, there are no side pictures — any images are in the text itself.

Where did the site menu go? A lesson deliberately takes the whole screen. Exit, at the top right, brings the rest of the site back.

My certificate link is lost. Open the course from My learning — the verification link and the PDF are always there.
