For experts
RAiN gives AI implementers — individuals, small teams, and agencies — a structured, trusted way to win and deliver work. You deliver in the client's tools on RAiN's behalf; RAiN handles intake, matching, workflow, quality, and paying you.
How you get work
- Apply through the guided expert questionnaire (skills, services, tools, industries, availability, capacity).
- Get verified. Your profile is reviewed; your verification status and tier appear on your dashboard.
- Receive job offers. When RAiN assigns you to a business's project, it appears under Job offers — review the brief and Accept or Decline. See Accepting jobs.
- Accepting creates a project with a ready‑made milestone plan.
New here? Two guides cover the essentials: Accepting jobs (offers, credits, accepting) and Payments (earnings, adding your bank, getting paid).
Your dashboard
| Section | What it shows |

Your sidebar has Dashboard, Job offers, Projects (everything you've accepted — active and completed, in one place), Earnings (your payout records + getting paid), and Billing.
Delivering a project
Each project follows the standard milestone workflow:
| # | Milestone | Typical work |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Intake | Confirm scope and access |
| 2 | Audit | Assess current process and readiness |
| 3 | Solution design | Plan the implementation |
| 4 | Setup | Configure the tools (in the client's environment) |
| 5 | Testing | Validate it works |
| 6 | Training | Hand skills to the client's team |
| 7 | Launch | Go live |
| 8 | Optimization | Tune and improve |
For each milestone you:
- ✅ Tick checklist items as you complete them
- 📎 Upload evidence — screenshots, a configuration summary, test results, known limitations, and a handover doc
- 🚀 Submit the project for QA when it's ready
Quality review
After you submit, an admin/reviewer checks your work against a QA checklist:
- Pass → the project is verified and completed.
- Needs revision → it comes back to you with notes; address them and resubmit.
Nothing is marked complete without passing QA — this protects your reputation and the client's outcome.
Your tier & plan
Experts move up a trust ladder as they prove delivery. Your tier shows on your dashboard and decides what work you can take and how you appear to businesses on RAiN:
| Tier | How you reach it | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Explorer | New expert | Training + templates; no client assignment until you're verified |
| Verified Expert | Complete onboarding + assessment | Apply for / receive basic projects; verified badge |
| Specialist | Proven delivery in a use case or vertical | Higher-value projects, specialized matching, featured placement |
| Lead Implementer | High-trust, strong completion quality | Lead teams, review junior work, larger projects |
| Agency Partner | A company with multiple practitioners | Manage multiple projects + expert seats |
Higher tiers keep a larger share of the project price — from 85% up to 93%. Manage your plan under Settings → Plans & billing.
Job credits
Responding to job offers uses credits on the free plans:
- You start with 5 credits. Each time you accept or decline a job offer, it costs 1 credit.
- When you run low, buy more anytime under Settings → Job credits (you'll also see your credit balance on the Job offers page).
- If you run out, you'll be prompted to buy more before you can accept a new job.
- On the Specialist, Lead Implementer, and Agency Partner plans, job responses are unlimited — no credits needed.
Credits keep responses timely — they encourage genuine, prompt replies to the jobs RAiN matches you with.
Getting paid
RAiN pays you as a subcontractor for the projects you deliver. You see payout records and their statuses — there's no stored balance; RAiN sends each approved payout to your bank.
- When a business approves your completed, quality‑checked delivery, RAiN pays you your agreed rate — your tier's share of the project fee (85–93%). RAiN records a payout and sends it to your bank.
- Link a Nigerian bank account under Settings → Bank account so RAiN can pay you via Paystack transfer.
- Go to Earnings to see every payout and its status (pending, processing, or paid). Transfers are processed through our payment provider and may take a little time to settle.
Getting paid opens once billing goes live — you can link your bank beforehand.
Standing out
- Keep your profile sharp in Settings — primary skill, services, availability, capacity, and a profile photo.
- Get verified and grow your tier — Specialist and above are featured on AI Solution pages where businesses browse for experts.
- Provide clear evidence and a thorough handover doc — it speeds QA and builds trust.
- Respond to job offers promptly.
