Accepting jobs (experts)

When RAiN matches you to a business's job, it becomes an offer you can accept or decline. Here's how it works.

Where offers appear

Open Job offers in your sidebar. Each card shows the job title, a short summary, the services involved, and the business's budget range. Your job-credit balance is shown at the top.

On the offer card you see the budget range only. The exact amount the business will pay is revealed on the offer detail page when you open it — and it becomes your project fee.

Reviewing an offer

Tap an offer to see the full brief:

  • The problem and what "done" looks like
  • Services, industry, timeline, and the exact budget
  • Tools, channels, success criteria, and any attachments
  • A note from RAiN, if there is one

The business's contact details are shared after you accept.

Credits

On the free plans, each response costs 1 job credit — whether you accept or decline. You start with 5.

  • Low on credits? Buy more under Settings → Job credits.
  • If you run out, you'll be prompted to buy more before you can accept a new job.
  • Specialist, Lead Implementer, and Agency Partner plans include unlimited responses — no credits needed.

Accepting

Tap Accept & start project. This:

  1. Creates the project (with its milestone plan, seeded from the brief), and
  2. Reveals the client's contact details so you can get started.

From there you deliver through the milestones, upload evidence, and submit for QA — see Projects & quality.

Declining

Not a fit? Use Decline and, optionally, add a quick reason — it helps us re-route the job to a better-matched expert.

Getting paid

You're paid when the business approves your completed, quality-checked work — RAiN pays you your share of the project fee as a subcontractor. RAiN records a payout and sends it to your bank via Paystack transfer; you see payout records under Earnings. See Payments.
