Account, sign‑in & security

RAiN uses passwords plus a one‑time email code so your account stays secure.

Creating an account

Sign up with your name, email, and a password (8+ characters), then confirm your email with a 6‑digit code. See Getting started.

  • One account per email — you can't register the same email twice.
  • The 👁 eye icon on any password field lets you check what you typed.

Signing in (two steps)

Step What you do
1. Credentials Enter your email + password
2. Verification Enter the 6‑digit code we email you

You'll get a fresh code each time you sign in — this extra step protects your account even if your password is ever guessed.

Trouble signing in

Problem Fix
"Invalid email or password" Double‑check both; use the eye icon to confirm the password
Code didn't arrive Check spam; use Start over to request a new one
Code rejected It may have expired (~10 min) — request a new one
Forgot password Contact the RAiN team to reset (self‑service reset coming soon)

Signing out

Use Sign out in the sidebar. You'll be returned to the homepage and your session ends.

Settings & profile

Open Settings from the sidebar to manage your account:

Section What you can change
Account Your name and profile photo (image up to 2 MB)
Password Change your password (enter your current one first)
Business profile Business name, contact, phone/WhatsApp, location, website, category, preferred channel & hours
Expert profile Full name, company, primary skill, phone/WhatsApp, location, availability, capacity
  • Your profile photo also appears in the sidebar.
  • Profile changes are reflected on your dashboard and used for matching.

Security good practices

  • Use a unique, strong password (8+ characters; longer is better).
  • Keep access to your email secure — it's part of every sign‑in.
  • Sign out on shared devices.

Your data & deleting

  • If you cancel during sign‑up, RAiN permanently deletes the email and everything you entered.
  • For account deletion after onboarding, contact the RAiN team.
